Summary talks were held last evening, by PM bureau Dir.-Gen. Ra'anan Dinor and attended by the Dir.-Gen. of the Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs, Nahum Itzkovitch, along with  representatives from the Ministries of Finance, Justice and Pensioners, in wake of the meeting to be held Sunday afternoon with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.  The representatives of the Holocaust survivors' organizations, headed by Noah Flug, agreed on most of the disputed issues in regards to financial assistance to be disbursed.

There as yet remain disputed points which, together with the issues presently resolved and agreed upon, will be brought before Prime Minister Olmert to be decided on Sunday.
 
Both sides concluded that the intensive discussions held during the past week were comprehensive and efficient, and that throughout the discussions there existed an atmosphere of candor and sincerity to successfully resolve the dire straights of the Holocaust survivors.
