Prime Minister Ehud Olmert this afternoon, in Jerusalem, met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. 

The two leaders declared that they are interested in contributing towards the success of the international meeting initiated by the US. 

They also reiterated their commitment to the solution of two states living side by side in peace and security and decided to appoint teams from both sides in order to reach this goal.
